SCG IQ 5th with Jeskai Control

A couple notes on the decklist: I was trying to slant in a couple directions compared to stock Jeskai builds. Knowing the preferences of some of the stronger players in the area, I was expecting plenty of small creature decks (Spirits, Humans, Affinity) and Cryptic mirrors, and I feel Jeskai is better (or at least I don't get punked by Teeg) compared to UW in those matchups.

Round 1 - Bye. I get the bye round 1 and use it to wander around the room and peek at what decks are in the room. I see a bit of Tron, a little control, a lot of midrange, and almost no Dredge.

Hot Take Jeskai

Channel Fireball - 10/23/2018

This Jeskai deck is built on some hot takes: Snapcaster Mage and Lightning Bolt are overrated. Hieroglyphic Illumination is way better than Opt. Teferi, Hero of Dominaria is better than Jace.
